Azure Synapse Analytics Monitoring Integration
Azure Synapse Analytics brings together data warehousing; data connections; extract, transform, and load pipelines; analytics tools and services; scaling for big data capabilities; visualizations; and dashboards.
With Site24x7's integration, you can now monitor your Azure Synapse Analytics, configure thresholds, and receive alerts about critical issues.
Setup and configuration
You can add Azure Synapse Analytics while adding a new monitor or you can add it to an existing Azure monitor. Follow these steps to add the service.

Data Conversion Errors (preview) | The total number of output events that could not be converted to the expected output schema. The error policy can be changed to "Drop" to drop the events that encounter this scenario | Total | Count |
Input Deserialization Errors (preview) | The total number of input events that could not be deserialized | Total | Count |
Early Input Events (preview) | The total number of input events for which the application time is considered early compared to the arrival time, according to the early arrival policy | Total | Count |

Threshold configuration
Global configuration
- In the Site24x7 web client, go to the Admin section on the left navigation pane.
- Select Configuration Profiles from the left pane and select the Threshold and Availability (+) tab from the drop-down menu.
- Click Add Threshold Profile in the top-right corner.
- For Monitor Type, select Azure Synapse Analytics.
Now you can set the threshold values for all the metrics listed above.
Monitor-level configuration
- In the Site24x7 web client, go to Cloud > Azure and select Azure Synapse Analytics from the drop-down menu.
- Choose a resource you would like to set a threshold for, then click the hamburger icon .
- Select Edit, which directs you to the Edit Azure Synapse Analytics Monitor page.
- You can set the threshold values for the metrics by selecting Threshold and Availability.
You can also configure IT Automation at the attribute level.
